Plot holes:
- How can reporters term Shahrukh as 'traitor' only for shaking hands with opposite team's captain. Doesn't they knew the term 'sportsman-spirit'?
- In movie, story moves to 7 years later. But, in committee meeting official says "kabir dus saal se dikha hi nahi hai".
Factual errors:
- World Cup was held in Australia,but,Vodafone Arena stadium is shown which is in Instanbul.
- Left hand corner news snippet reads "Stephen Marandi resigns,big blow to UPA government in Jharkhand".But, newspaper is dated 9th May,1997. Jharkhand is formed in 2000!
Other Mistake:
- Hockey players beats boys for long time, but no security guard came to stop them in the cafe.
